March is good, no it is GREAT! Everything outside starts turning green and St. Patricks Day is upon us. The food the beer the fun. I love it! Still a little chilly and damp but there is sunshine! That wonderful feeling of warmth on my face with a chilly wind blowing at my back makes me feel alive. I want those moments to last forever. I am sustained by moment and I am satisfied! Thank God for March!

Thank God for March
February is one of my least favorite months. Usually filled with cold rainy days. The kids are stuck in the house and no matter how hard I try my house looks like an earthquake just hit (I would say tornado but this is California). January is not so bad, most of my time is spent recouping from the holidays, my son's birthday is at the end of the month and my family loves to bundle up on the couch and watch movies. By the time February comes along I just want to get out! On most days in February you can find me starring out the window wishing for March to come around and break me out of my prison.

Back to the Blog
I took a break from writing on this blog for about a year. I really didn't think what I had to say was worth anything to anybody. In someway I still feel this way. My writing is a way for me to put the feeling, thoughts and ideas of the moment down in print for eternity (or until deleted). I, as well as others who choose to read this, can go back and revisit and regain a grasp on the moment. With this in mind I will continue to add a few things here and there.
In this moment I needed to write a letter. This letter is void of any tact. You could say I threw civility out the door. You might find some humor in it or you may find that you at one time wanted to express the same message.
Dear Annoying Mother,
It has been brought to my attention, by yourself, that your daughters are not getting the same opportunities as my daughter. For some reason you believe this is my problem and I should do something to rectify it. Honestly I don't think that there is anything I can do to fix the fact that they have an obnoxious, overbearing and hovering mother.
Please stop making personal attacks on my character and insisting that I am not a happy person. The reality is if I look annoyed it is because I have to deal with you!
Tired of being your friend,
Jen
I wrote this the other day and I knew I couldn't send it but I really didn't want to throw it away. It is one of my better "FU" letters (Not that I write these that often). Would love to see if anyone else has some good letters to share.
